"Necessary Tools For Purchasing and Contracting Success"

This seminar is an intense day and a half study of the necessary skills to reach "ultimate purchasing and contract professional" status. The current environment requires that both government and commercial buyers use some new tools. The reality of it is that the major differences in the two types of purchasing are all but gone. Best practices are moving more and more to the center where "three bids in a cloud of dust" is almost a thing of the past. The new skills required are in the area of supply chain management and of course E-commerce. It is appropriate that purchasing and contract professionals now have a command of many of these new tools. We will cover everything from the new technology aspect to the still relevant price vs. cost and negotiation techniques for today's buyer.
